Today I dropped my daughter off at Playschool. She kissed me and said ‘Now go home mummy’ as she ran off, no worries there. A new term, back to a routine and we are in my favourite season of the year. Feeling inspired I have decided to begin my Alphabet blog. What is that I hear you ask? Well I am going to take each letter of the alphabet and write a blog about something relating to the wedding industry. It might be an obvious link or I may try for the obscure. I also hope to feature UK companies as well.
So what will A bring?…well Autumn weddings would be a great place to start!
The colours that spring to mind are browns, golds and reds. The nights are drawing in and there is a slight chill in the air, but in the sun, the day still can be glorious. These are just a few reasons why I chose Autumn to get married.

We have Pinterest boards filled with autumnal ideas. I have to say that the Americans do Autumn themed weddings pretty well and there are an abundance of pumpkins and mulled wines and warm ciders. Here are a pick of some of my favourite ideas to help add to your autumn wedding.
A simple and effective garland could decorate windows, cieling and doorways. Very eco friendly so we particulary love it. Also how about some apple pops, mini apple pies on sticks, genius idea!
Leave out rugs for people to sit on or wrap themselves up in if there is a chill in the air.
